    Unconventiona Training

Just to let you know that the new digital edition of My Mad Methods magazine (the 'Sports' edition) is out now. I've got an article in it on Unconventional Training for mixed, ice and dry tooling.

Love to know what you think or to swap ideas

    Thanks

Yeah - just to mitigate the abuse I got on another forum:

I have no connection with the magazine
I have no financial or other interest in promoting it
I gained no reward in cash or in kind for writing for them

This was a genuine post, just trying to make people aware that there was stuff out there that wasnt in the usual climbing media and to make contact with people of a shared interest.

As I said I was also looking to swap some different training ideas whether you but this magazine or not.

Hope that does the job !

How 'bout we skip the e-mag and discuss your methods here?

Second that idea. It's rather unconventional to pay for thoughts around here. Did you also give up your copyright?

    Dear Mr. Fatcat,

We are climbers thus by our very nature we are unconventional, some more than others; hence our training methods are not nor have they ever been part of the mainstream. Consider Mark Twight's methods illustrated on his website Gym Jones. (name is a parity of sorts to the Koolaid drinking mentality found over on X-Fit.) Anywho - ever hear of a campus board? If you have I'm sure you would consider it unconventional. If not I rest my case.

One glass of Laphroaig - one pull up. Repeat till exhausted.
