ICE CONDITIONS FOR MARCH 13 2012
Warm weather and rain has been here for a few days now. The Agawa river is not crossable and is open in places. All small creeks and rivers are running. Snow pack is soft and will not hold snowshoes. Roads are slushy and only driveable by snowmachine. South facing ice hs been baked and is either fallen down or slushy. Best to wait for colder weather to return, (WATCH FOR POSTS) or look for spring rock climbing. Perhaps it is time to put your gear away until next year
